Green Tea

Green Tea is a perpetual staple in many diets for its reputed health benefits. Because of this, there’s a large cross over to bath and body care as well. Bramble Berry’s Green Tea fragrance is a “fantasy blend” meaning that actual green tea (the drink) has little smell so this is our interpretation of what green tea smells like. It’s herbacious, green and works well in other blends as a middle note. I hope you enjoy the blends I came up with to make this versatile scent go even further.

Sweet n Spicy Tea
2 parts Green Tea
2 parts Vanilla Bean
Citron Green
3 parts Green Tea
Iced Green Fruit
2 parts Green Tea
Green Tropical Tea
2 parts Green Tea
Refreshing Green Tea
4 parts Green Tea

Are you wondering what a ‘part’ is? A ‘part’ is simply a unit of measure – any unit of measure, a drop, an ounce, a cup. So 2 parts of Green Tea and 1 part Lemon could be 2 drops Green Tea and 1 drop Lemon or 2 ounces Green Tea and 1 ounce Lemon. And if you have any great ideas for a Green Tea Blend, share them! I’d love to expand my collection.

  1. Also sounds delicious – any 'purple' fruit sounds good (pomegranate? cassis? blackberry?) when you mention ginger and green tea to me! =)

  2. Love the idea of the Green Tea Vetyver Basmati …. delicious.

I think I tried the Green Tea, Mango Lassi and that was not such a good combo (just to save you money should you wish to try it!) LOL!

  3. As for ideas, I'm not yet an expert, but I was thinking that Green Tea and Lemon Verbena at least sounded nice.

Or how about Green Tea and Vetyver with a little splash of Basmati?

Or Green Tea with Mango Lassi? Droool….

  4. Green Tea and Honey popsicles sound amazing! I bet the Green Tea and our Honey Ale fragrance would be a good mix?
I agree with Beth, all of the blends you guys are coming up with sound wonderful!

  5. Thank you, Anne-Marie!

I've been wanting to get my Green Tea and my Matcha Tea out and play with all of these along with my new Black Tea! I especially like the one mixed with Lemongrass and Sage and also the Bergamot and Lime sounds fascinating to me. I absolutely love anything green smelling!

    XOX!

  6. Whenever I make a cup of green tea with jasmine, I think what a wonderful bath scent it would make.

  7. Green Tea & Melon is always a good one and so is Green Tea & Cucumber.. both simple, but so tasty!

    Thanks Anne-Marie!

  8. How about green tea and honey? I made my own popsicles last summer from green tea and honey, they were awesome! I want to try a green tea and honey lip balm (obviously flavor not fragrance).
