  1. Hi Christilicious,

Thanks for popping into the blog. I haven’t seen you post before. I hope you’ll be an active commenter. =)

We worked with Stephenson for a few years and carried their base, side by side with our house brand. Many of our customers really loved our house brand and didn’t want to buy the Stephenson, despite Stephenson’s lower price.

Stephenson was dismayed that we continued to carry our house brand and wanted to be our sole vendor.

I felt strongly about keeping our house base brand for our customers who preferred it. Stephenson felt strongly that they would like to only sell to us if we dropped the house line.

    Thus, we parted ways.

You can still get Stephenson soap at TheChemistryStore.com. The main benefit that we saw to working with Stephenson was their very low price and bulk rate discounts. After Stephenson and Bramble Berry parted ways, we went out and formulated an exclusive, low cost bulk base for our more price sensitive customers. I think our house brand bulk base is a superior product and we have very aggressive pricing for the Economy Base.

Email me if you want bulk shipping information. Orders over 500 pounds save a bunch on shipping. =)
