We’ve been inspired and surprised! In our latest monthly newsletter, our new soap boxes stole the show. Despite our attempt to showcase beautiful hand milled soap, the new white soap boxes took center stage. Twice as many readers clicked on the soap box blurb than any other article in the newsletter. Because they were so unexpectedly popular, we thought our blog readers would want to check them out as well.

  1. Gemma, Thank you so much for featuring our packaging on your blog. Yippeee!

Kat, Melt and Pour/salt/melt and pour/salt/melt and pour? Yes, I think that would adhere but I think that your idea of layer/soap salt layer/layer/soap salt layer is a better idea than just straight salt.

Do a small, small test batch first. I haven’t tried this and would hate to have led you astray. =)

  2. Anne-Marie,
I have a bee in my bonnet to make scrub bars with salt. I am toying
with the idea of making a M&P layered salty concoction and cutting them into cute little cubes.

is this feasible; and does anyone think that the salt will adhere to the layers? Or, should a layer be a heavier concentration of salt mixed with soap then a small layer of just soap? Don't want it to fall apart.

im just too cheap to waste valuable ingredients without qualified advice…

i ordered donna marias book from you this week and i am sure she might address this but being impetuous and slightly impulsive
the bee is really buzzing and bugging me in my head right now!

so, when the itch scratches, scratch the itch, right! I can't wait to start creating! Must be my response to spring which has already "sprung" here in texas!

  3. I can definitely see why the boxes would be a hit! I adore and look forward to the BB newsletters, BTW. 🙂

  4. hey, I missed the boxes? I’ll have to go back ~ they’re very pretty~!
    Thanks for reposting~!
