We just got done filming Soap Queen TV and the shoot went smoothly (mostly because of the awesome Soap Queen TV team). The crew and I had fun as usual (laughed more than should be allowed at work) and we busted out 2 really creative projects in record time. I can’t wait for you to see what we have in store for you (no timeline for release yet; we still need to release the Kristy episodes!). We also redesigned the set with fresh new colors, new shelving and even a new Soap Queen Sign. It’s the happiest set on earth. Really people, I’m pretty sure I smiled all day today! What do you think of the new color scheme?
The crew and I shot 3 face mask recipes and a new technique with Flexy Fast and mica brushing. I wish I could tell you more details but I don’t want to spoil the episode. You’ll just have to wait =)
The only downfall about filming on the weekends is that I miss my baby sooooo much. It was so hard to leave him this morning as he reached his little arms out towards me for some snuggles. I couldn’t resist begging my husband to bring my second Main Man to the set.
As you can tell, he’s teething. He likes to chew on everything in sight. His favorite trick is to grab my hair and pull me close (I have no choice since he has my hair) and then try to bite my nose. It’s rather endearing though reading that line, it does sound a bit strange.
Now that we’ve wrapped up for the day I’m off to spend the rest of the evening with my husband and Jamisen. I hope you get to spend the rest of your night with family too!

Thanks Elaine. We think he’s pretty cute, on and off set =) He’s started blowing raspberries this week (drool laden little ‘pthhhhhhhhh!’ with his tongue out of his mouth) and it is so adorable. =)
Jamisen looks like he’s going to have a career in front of the cameram just like mom.
I worked on a new project over the weekend featuring orange, lime green and purple. When I opened your blog this morning, I felt confident that I’d made a good choice. Love your new color combo! Happy Happy Happy! Jamisen’s the perfect star too. What a cutie!

Ha, that makes me laugh. My two youngest used to do the same thing to me and my husband. As usual, he is too cute for words. I love the new set too!
