What an ingenious idea from All My Soap – bubble wrap as the mold liner. It adds texture and depth and gives us all something to do with the copious amounts of shipping material we’ll receive this holiday season.

  1. I also just found this bee soap pict. Is there a mold for this? I just love the bee impression on the sides.

  2. Well, here it is three YEARS later and I stumbled onto this post while searching for honeybee molds.

Did you ever try this project, Anne-Marie? How did yours turn out? I love the photos of this soap but how exactly would a person do this?

I have a 1 lb wooden mold. Are you saying that I would line the inside of my mold with bubble wrap and pour CP directly onto the plastic bubble wrap? I really would like to try this if I thought mine would turn out half as well.

  3. Very cute idea, thanks for sharing AM. I think my hubby would agree with you on the herbs, I don’t know if I can count how many times he’s said that very same thing to me about the drain. LOL

  4. Ha ha, I’m a sucker for texture too! =)

Strangely though, I don’t like herbs in soap too much. It’s probably because that texture clogs my drain!

  5. Oooooh. Love it.

I have a real thing for texture. That’s why I love cupcakes and soap with funky toppings.

  6. Isn’t it a great bar of soap?

By the way, your “trademark wax paper wrinkles” about had me spitting my tea out at the monitor! Thanks for the laugh.

  7. Very cool! Perfect for honey soap. And much fresher looking than my trademark wax paper wrinkles. 🙂
