These candies soaps are a definite crowd pleaser. I love coordinating the colors for all occasions. These Cinnamon Soapy Candies (below) will probably go in some stockings this year (shhh…don’t tell anyone). Want to learn how to make these? Check out the video on Soap Queen TV (it’s FREE).
I made all of these candy soaps with Cinnamon Sugar Fragrance Oil and Vanilla Color Stabilizer. The Cinnamon Sugar smells just like a cinnamon sticky bun (with extra cinnamon) and sweet vanilla frosting (oozing down the sides…yummm). Because of the sweet vanilla notes, it will discolor to a beige or light brown. Thank goodness for Vanilla Color Stabilizer! Just use equal parts fragrance oil to stabilizer to prevent discoloration. For the red color above, I used clear soap base with equal parts Non-Bleeding Red and Red Jelly. And I used white soap base for the white swirls.

P.S. The Red Jelly Color is on sale this month!

I had fun with these colors too!
Bright Orange: In clear soap, mix equal parts of Non-Bleeding Red, Red Jelly Color, Red mica and Super Pearly White Mica
Glittery Red: In clear soap, mix equal parts of Non-bleeding Red, Red Jelly Color and Red Glitter (as much glitter as you want).

Lime Green: In clear soap, mix equal parts of Yellow Mica and Aqua Pearl Mica.
Wrap these with a fun cellophane wrapper to give the soap an extra candy look and delight and amaze your soapy friends and family with your color coordination.

  1. VCS does not reliably work in Cold Process soap – I've had it work in the majority of my batches but not all of them – and not always through the entire batch. So, you can use it, but don't expect it to totally work consistently. It hasn't in any of my tests.

  2. I would love to know if your vanilla stabilizer works well in CP soap. I have tried a few f/o's that darkened so much during the cure. So many have some vanilla hidden in there somewhere!

  3. Lisa, Cinnamon Sugar sounds wonderful! Make sure to use Vanilla Color Stabilizer so the whites stay white and the reds stay red (as opposed to going brown).

Debbie, You totally should make the project with those colors. It would look incredible!

AsliceofDelight, I am so glad that you like the project and made it. Yippeee! And, that they are selling. Your twin boys sound like quick learners if they are taking in the small details like temperature from the videos. It must be so much fun to make soap with them. =)

  4. I made these and recently sold them at a fair. It's the greatest compliment when they are purchased! Thank you Anne-Marie and Soap Queen TV. I used Sleigh Ride fragrance. I need to also add that one day I had the video up on the laptop and my 8 year old twin boys watched it. They love your 'TV Shows' and watched them all. They now remind me all the time to make sure the soap is at the right tempature before pouring.

  5. This looks great! I'm going to have to try the Cinnamon Sugar fragrance. My customers have been requesting cinnamon. 🙂
