This was my run today, in a mini windstorm with winds from 19 to 27 miles per hour. Thankfully, it was merely wet and not actively raining.

  1. You’re right – raining and drizzle is pretty expected around here so ya’ just plow through it (with massive amounts of whining added in for good measure).

I am taking it easy today with some light weights, core workout and stretching. I’m a bit sore from the run yesterday. =)

Jo, I would have felt massive burning on that lighthouse as well! Just because someone works out doesn’t mean that strange repetitive motions are easy (and yes, walking 105 steps is a strange repetitive motion!)

    =) Anne-Marie

  2. It is really sad that I climbed the stairs of a lighthouse on Sunday (105 steep steps) and my calves feel like some karate chopped them. I am limping on BOTH legs.

Good for you for being so on the ball with exercise.

  3. Love that persistence, Anne-Marie. I guess if you wanna run in Washington, you are going to end up running in the wind and rain/drizzle eventually. Or is that usually? =D

  4. In a windstorm does not sound very safe but your drive well may inspire me to work out one of these days.
