Guess what? I had flowers delivered today and I totally noticed them! Why? Because my desk is clean! Total success this week following the do-one-thing-at-a-time-rule. Also, it probably helps that I got here this morning at 5:45 a.m. just to clean the desk before I leave on a little r&r Mexican vacation tonight. But, I was really good about doing things for one hour increments (1 hour phone calls, 1 hour emails, 1 hour meetings, 1 hour emails, 1 hour staff time, 1 hour meetings, 1 hour reading-blogs-and-news time, 1 hour signing checks, repeat entire loop all over again) and it worked exceedingly well.
