I’m not a grumpy girl but I love GrumpyGirl from Etsy. I’m a happy camper 99.99% of the time. It’s only once in a blue moon that I’ll have a down day and GrumpyGirl stuff looks amazing enough to pull me right out of any funk.
Check out GrumpyGirl’s colorful and realistic cupcake bath bombs. I (heart) her color combination of bright green and purple! If these don’t put you in a non-grumpy mood, I don’t know what will. You should go to her site here and see the whimsical “DO NOT EAT” warning. Yep, they look that good, people! My staff was literally huddled over my shoulder oohing and ahhing wondering how GrumpyGirl pulled off these magnificent swirls. As well as being super talented, she has the clever names for her soaps and body products. This swirly soap is called Acid Trip…go to her Etsy site to see more creative soaps and names.
I bought the Acid Trip soap, Cupcake Bath Fizzy (no surprise there), and one of her fruit tarts. They should be here in a few weeks. I can hardly wait for that pick-me-up.

  4. Joanna, That is amazing! We buy a bunch of stuff every month, partially to see what everyone in the industry is doing and also to support small crafters that support us. The ones that WOW us hit the blog. We are all crazy with anticipation for the Acid Trip soap …

Next year, you’ll have to come out for the Soapmaking Weekend Intensive. That would be a perfect time to meet. =)

  5. OK, Anne Marie- totally weird, again! Grumpy girl. I just received a box from her last week with one of these cupcakes in it. We ARE so in the same place. We HAVE to meet-it is getting scary how we talk about, think about and do the same things around the same time.

In my package I got Acid Trip, Deceptions and Lies, Ghetto Princess and It’s Got Balls (:D) Too funny. The cuppycake looks even better in person than in the photo. I can’t wait to crack it open and try everything!!!!

    I feel so lucky.

  6. Hey Hey Hey! Grumpy Girl art on the soap queen blog! Have you seen Sindy’s version? It’s a beaut! A whole thread of conversation on swirling bloomed from a link to her acid soap. Wonder if her (grumpy girl) ears were burning…*chuckle*
