Jojoba beads are one of my favorite exfoliants. They are round and smooth, making them gentle on the skin. The biodegradable beads (sometimes called jojoba esters) are derived from the wax of the jojoba shrub. Jojoba beads are not to be confused with microbeads, which are made from plastic. Jojoba beads suspend wonderfully in the thick texture of the Stephenson Suspending Body Wash. The amount of jojoba beads used in this recipe give a very gentle exfoliation. Feel free to use more if you prefer an extra scrubby wash. I used the Bramble Berry’s Fierce Type Fragrance Oil to give this wash a masculine scent.
