Their cupcakes look so yummy. I sure wish I had something like that for my wedding. We had so much cake left over. I ordered this gigantic cake like a silly goose.

Check out http://www.cupcakeroyale.com (out of Seattle Washington) – they will make a tiny cake for the bride & groom to cut and then have tiers of cupcakes for the guests. The perfect compromise!
A friend of mine just posted a picture of her daughters wedding cake where she had the top part as cake but all around it was decorated with cupcakes. I don’t think I was ever cupcake obsessed but after being on the blog, I now find myself spotting cupcakes everywhere and loving the way they are decorated. I can totally understand why you like them so much Anne-Marie.
Hi Singingwolf~ My son (who’s getting married) did mention the cupcakes stacked like a tree. I wish I could see pics of your wedding cupcakes~ I’m sure it was beautiful!
Carrie, I had a cupcake tree for my wedding… it was wonderful! I didn’t have to worry about the cutting/serving, it was much less expensive than a wedding cake that would serve 75-100 guests, I was able to offer a variety of cakes instead of hoping everyone liked what I did and the left overs froze well. *grin* We put 100 cupcakes on (and around) a “garden style” cake stand which was covered in silk ivy. It was absolutely lovely!
