I want to give a soapy shout out to Erin Pikor, from Naiad Soap Arts, for winning Best Soap at the Handcrafted Soapmaker’s Guild Conference. Her Tea Room Soap took the cake and I couldn’t be more proud. I knew she was a great soap artist but the vote of all the soapers at the conference just proved it!

Erin is a guest blogger for the Soap Queen Blog and always comes up with the cutest projects like Solid Sugar Cubes and Cold Process Cupcakes.

Erin will also be a teacher at this years Soap Weekend Intensive making Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Soap and Ambrosia Salad Soap. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to meet Erin! Sign up for Soap Weekend Intensive 2010 HERE And, congratulations Erin. We’re so excited for you and your award.

  1. I really appreciate how helpful Erin is to other soapers. She is very generous with her time and energies.

  2. I had her Tea Room Soap in person but in a fit of generosity, gave it to someone who was having a really really really bad month. He was surprised and thankful when I gave it to him. My gut said he needed it worse than I did for a mental pick me up. But man, I do regret that after re-smelling the bar at the Soap Guild Show.

  3. I really appreciate that all of her fragrances are thought out as well. They’re always strong and lovely in the soap.

  4. You deserve it! Your soap was innnnnncreeeedible (is/was). You’re a true soap artist =)

  5. Thank you everyone for your wonderful words and compliments! I am blushing! Thank you Anne-Marie for the post and all of your encouragement!

I am super excited about the class in August and hope it is a hit!

  6. Erin so deserved that! Her soaps are second to none. I love her range, her colours and her style. Just wonderful.
    WELL DONE!

  7. I am a big fan of yours too Erin! Congrats on your award! Thank you so much for all the help you have given me and I am in awe of your art soaps!! Blessings to you!!

  8. Congrats, Erin. You are the best. Thank you for always helping me always.

  9. Yes! Congrats Erin, and lucky you to have her at your shop! I ordered her Tea Room Soap, and also the Bamboo Sugar. Both smell wonderful though I confess I’ve been admiring them from afar to date. I am not the type to just let good soap sit, but it is taking me a bit of extra time to lather up with my first bar of award winning soap. Great job Erin!
