When making melt and pour logs, it’s always suspenseful waiting for the first cut. Here is what the soap from last night turned out like.

I’m pretty happy with the results (though definitely see room for improvement). I’m doing more testing tonight using our non-bleeding colors and our brand new economy soap base. I’ll be sure to post photos.

  1. Psychadelic! I love the effect. Reminds me of a groovy folder I had back in the 70s.

Or, if I didn’t want to date myself, I’d say it looks like a lovely slab of onyx.

  2. I like it.
    And
I got my box today! Thank you, thank you and thank you! All the goodies I just love. The Plum Blossom spray is fantastic, the soap is adorable and the suds are so creamy. I love your body butter and all the other goodies are so cool. I will have to check out some web sites later. The cranberry-yuzu sugar scrub scent is to die for.
Thank you again for the contest I did not know I was in. LOL

  3. That looks wonderful. I hope that new mold passes the testing phase as it looks like one that I could use!!!

  4. Oh my gosh…that is one of the most beautiful soaps I have ever seen! Now that is a soap my mom would tuck away, & bring out to show everyone who came to visit. Are these bars for sale??? 🙂

  5. Looks nice!

Hey were your ears burning last weekend? We had our informal winter meeting/gabfest, and were discussing whether you were coming to our summer meeting. (We all hope so!)
