A BIG thank you to everybody who signed up for Handmade Beauty Box on Kickstarter, and via the new homepage. We are SO close to our stretch goal of 250 subscribers on Kickstarter. What happens at 250? Well, besides a giant exciting party with Courtney and me dancing for joy, we want to bring the party to YOU every month. When the Kickstarter goal of 250 backers is reached, every single Handmade Beauty Box subscriber will have access to a live crafting session for each project!
During these live sessions, each monthly project will be demonstrated live. These sessions will provide an opportunity to ask questions, troubleshoot and see the projects made in real time. We are so close to making this goal, only 13 more backers needed! So tweet, share, and back us on Kickstarter. YOU can be a hero and help get this reward to everyone for the rest of the year! You did it! We reached our goal of 250 subscribers. We are so, so, so excited to host these live events and obviously you are excited to join us for them too. Will facebook be the only way to participate in the live event? And if we cannot be present during the live event will there be away to watch the presentation at a later time? My work hours are extremely variable. How soon will we get a schedule?

I can’t wait, I’m so excited! At first I thought these were things I already know how to do, why would I join the club? But after running my own business for four years I need a little boost to remember how fun soapmaking is. That saying “it’s never work if you love your job”, I’m just not sure about. It’s work! This will be my quiet time to just work on whatever shows up. No executive decisions, just make whatever ships to me. With Anne-Marie I always learn something new!

YAY! Is this shipment on December 10th going to be the box purchased on Kickstarter, or is it going to be the first box for the subscription service? I subscribed today and the message was that the first payment would be billed the 1st of the month, but I also already paid for the frist box via the Kickstarter. So will there be 2 boxes? I’m just confused about how it is supposed to work. but looking forward to it!
I had the same question and sent them an email. Based on their reply I will subscribe either now or later as I don’t want to end up with two boxes of the same thing.

If you purchased a box on Kickstarter and signed up on the website, you will be getting two of the same boxes. If you only want one, you can email [email protected] and get that straightened out. They can also answer any additional questions you have. 🙂
