Here is the official Master List of Swappers for our May 2011 swap. We will keep this list updated with the fragrances being used and we will also note when we’ve received your soap.

What’s a soap swap you ask? Basically, you send us 12 bars of handmade soap and we send you 12 different bars back. We don’t charge anything but postage to and from for this fun community event. Read about all the details here.

Interested in signing up? Just email us with what kind of soap you are making and what Bramble Berry fragrance or essential oil you are going to use (check the list below to make sure no one else has claimed your scent).

  2. Hi. I just wanted to let you know when I was looking over the list for the swap, I was put in the “cold process” category instead of the “melt and pour” category. My soaps are melt and pour.
    Can’t wait!

    -tallulah

  3. I would like to join the soap swap. Sending Melt and Pour Yuzu Cybilla fragrance probably.

  4. Help, I can’t find the info on the swap. I need the address of where to send the soap and the deadline. Thanks!

    1. Here’s the link: https://soapqueen.com/bramble-berry-news/whos-ready-for-another-epic-soap-swap-2/

      May 2nd is your deadline for getting the soap to us. And this is the address:

      * Ship to: Bramble Berry Inc.
      * C/O Soap Swap
      * 2138 Humboldt Street
      * Bellingham, WA 98225

      You can always search the blog for key words (like “swap”) up on the top right of this blog. Just type in the word and hit ‘Go’ and it will come up with all those fun posts with the key word. It’s especially helpful when you’re trying to formulate something new and just need a starting point =)

  5. Hi, So excited about the soap swap!

    I wanted to mention that I emailed to change my fragrance from Almond Biscotti to Lilac and sweet grass two weeks ago and I got a email saying the change was made. Now that the new blog is up it looks like it was not changed. Just wanted to make sure because I already made the soap and I will be putting in the mail.

    Thanks

    Rose:
    MP
    Lilac & Sweet Grass

    1. We’re on it! Maybe during the switchover to the new blog, the post got reverted back to an older blog (we saved the blog and ported all the posts into the new format) so we’ll definitely work on getting this updated ASAP. Thanks for your eagle eyes and noticing that! =)

  6. I just sent an email for Cranberry Fig Cold Process. Is it OK to do Buttermilk soap? I forgot to ask in the email.

    1. Buttermilk would be AWESOME! Definitely a good choice. Amber will write you on Monday. =)

  7. Your blog changed!! I like it! Very sleek. I just stopped by to say that I’m tempted to join the swap, but I need more soap in my shower like I need another hole in my head. LOL!

    1. Ha! You and me both … but I’m still joining in the fun. =) I just opened up a new bar to put in my shower and there’s just something amazing about opening up a new bar that gets me every time.

  8. I have to tell you…I loved the oatmeal stout bar of soap that was included in with the last swap. I hadn’t ordered a sample of that one yet because I already had an oatmeal soap and thought it would be similar. I was so wrong! It’s an amazing scent and it soaps perfectly. One of the things I love about the beer scents is that they get better and better with age as they’re curing. Thanks for sending that one.

    1. Awesome! I love that report especially coming from an experienced soaper like you! =) Thank you for the huge pep-me-up. I definitely could use it today.

  9. I sent an email and would like to participate in the cold process swap with champaign scent, but have not heard anything back yet? I am so excited about participating in my first swap! Thank you!

    1. Hi Amy,
      It doesn’t look like we received your note. Please try sending it again to swap(at)brambleberry(dot)com. Be sure to tell us what type of soap you will be making in addition to the Bramble Berry fragrance. ( I love our Champagne fragrance, too!)
      Thanks for joining the swap!
      Amber

  10. Thanks! I started with some supplies from the local craft store and your videos, just to get a feel for it. Decided I loved making soap! My Bramble Berry order just came in yesterday. The box smells so good.

    I chose Coconut Citrus Sorbet. It smells like macaroons to me, yum!

  11. We are SO dorky happy about the swap so no, you’re not a dork at all. And welcome to the swap! We are happy to have you.

  12. Awesome! Join us! You definitely want to see what other soapers are doing. It will be a fantastic experience for you as a new soaper. =) Welcome to the team!

  13. If you’re a dork, then so am I. Sent in my scent preference last night. I’ve only been making soap for a few weeks, but thought I’d give it a try. I’m not sure where to share the things I’ve been making — believe me, I have pictures!

  14. Okay, after thinking about this for a week, I finally decided to sign up for my very first soap swap. I’ll be ready this page closely for all the instructions since I’ve never done it before. Yay! I can’t wait to see what kind of soap I get. LOL! Am I a dork to think this is really exciting?

  15. Oh, good you got my email! I was wondering if it was received, but I’m up there!!! YAY Can’t wait! 🙂

  16. I can’t remember from last time, how much do the soaps need to weigh? It seems like there was a minimum weight. Thanks!

  17. No, recipes stay with the soapmaker but you’ll get ingredients and can usually get pretty close to something that you love based on the ingredient list. =)

  18. Yes, HP is fantastic! You’ll be in the CP Group. I’ll make sure that the brilliant awesome Courtney who is working on the Swap emails you =)

  19. Allison – I would be interested! CP and doing a Cranberry Pomegranate – love this one!

  20. Hello!
    I had emailed to find out if I could sign up but I make HP soaps, but did not hear back yet.. Please let me know I would love to join!
    Thanks-
    Erika

  21. I just poured my Chai Tea batch! Hopefully it works out since I used up all the FO I have 🙂
