I seemed to have made a little friend while visiting my parents house the other weekend. They have the cutest baby squirrel that has been hanging around the house lately. He seriously just sits there and doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything. It was so fun to see nature up close and personal! I hope to see him on my next visit.

PS – Happy Birthday Mom!

  1. Oh so to cute. I love animals. exspecially really cute ones like that.

  2. Aww what a cutie. Bring him unsalted peanuts and he will be your bff! Until I met Sammy (my neighbors little dog near our family cabin) I used to feed the chipmunks every summer. They would clime up ladders as I painted the cabin, crawl in my pockets for nuts, sit outside my bedroom window at dawn and chirp ’til I’d come out with nuts. And like someone else said they ALL have differing personalities. Your squirrel really sounds like a bold social little guy which are the easiest to pal with. Have fun!

  3. I LOVE squirrels (and really, anything with less than 8 legs)! My parents live in Ocala, FL and adopted a baby squirrel after one of the hurricanes blew through a few years back. They named him Zip and he even went on a trip to Disney World and stayed with them in one of the resorts. Of course, Disney didn’t know. Zip had his own kingdom they created on one of the huge live oak trees on the property with progressively higher sleeping quarters. Squirrels have a lot of personality.

Happy belated birthday to your mom!
