  1. THANK YOU! Good tip…

Is there any other ways to test the done-ness besides the tongue zapping method?

Can’t wait to try another batch!

  2. Within 5 grams is just fine. Always round the lye amount DOWN if you’re working a scale that is not as accurate as you like. Example:

Recipe calls for 17 grams of lye

Put in 15 grams (not 20)

It is better to be slightly lye-light than lye heavy.

  3. Stevie great job.
I just ate my computer screen, they look yummy. Sorry, mayb i didn’t read far enough, what fragrance did you use?
    Thanks

  4. Yummy!! 100x better than my first attempt at the crock pot soap!! More on that later lol…

Question about the lye stuff… how precise does the measurement need to be? My scale goes in increments of 5 grams I think… so I couldn’t get as accurate as the soap app told me 🙁

  5. those look amazing – I could almost smell them through the screen. I have made CP soap for ages and still cant get them to look decently swirled!

  6. Mmmmmm!!!! Yummy, yummy for my tumy!!!! I can smell them!!! Congrats Stevie and Anne for the wonderful work!!!

I have to try the CP process!!! I saw in your web and blog amazing CP soaps!!
