The team and I have been busy testing new fragrances, soapy tools, molds and colorants. It has been a few months (and by “few”, I mean “eight”) since I shared all the new products that have arrived at Bramble Berry. We have quite a few! To find new items as they are added to the site, check out the “What’s New,” section on Brambleberry.com; you can find the link on the top right of the homepage.

Fragrance oils are always an exciting addition as they open up new design and project inspiration. Thanks to the Winter and Fall S.O.A.P. panels, plenty of new fragrance oils have arrived to our warehouse. If testing new fragrances sounds like something you’d like to participate in, keep your eyes on the blog…we will be announcing a new S.O.A.P. Panel soon (hint hint) =) One category of fragrance oils that has bloomed are floral and earthy scents; new fragrances include the fresh, sparkling and bright White Rose Fragrance Oil, and the musky Vanilla Rosewood Fragrance Oil. Vanilla Rosewood is sort of like walking through a forest filled with beautiful vanilla pods, freshly bursting open, and smelling the undertones of all the trees and leaves around our (imaginary) vanilla pod forest. We’ve also added Mahogany Fragrance OilHeavenly Honeysuckle Fragrance OilWinter Gardenia Fragrance Oil, and Lavender and Cedar Fragrance Oil to the fragrance line-up.

If you’re looking for a fruity fragrance , we have you covered. One of the newest fruity additions is the sparkling and sweet Grapefruit Bellini Fragrance Oil. It was the top choice in the Fall S.O.A.P. Panel, and a new favorite in the office as well. If you like fruity scents with more depth, the Autumn Fig Harvest Fragrance Oil features notes of crisp apple alongside cinnamon, caramel and twigs. Other new fragrances include Coconut Mango Fragrance OilCoconut Cream Fragrance OilGinger Patchouli Fragrance Oil, and Mandarin Oasis Fragrance Oil (a personal favorite of mine at this moment in time).

If you have a sweet tooth, foodie fragrances are a great way to give your products a delicious element. From Espresso Fragrance Oil to Pumpkin Brown Sugar Fragrance Oil, the new foodie fragrances are rich, sweet and completely addicting. In addition to fragrances, new colorants have been arriving for both melt and pour and cold process. Powder colorants are great for cold process soap; before using, I recommend dispersing them in a lightweight liquid oil such as sweet almond oil. For more information, check out this Soap Queen TV video on dispersing colorants for cold process. New colorants include the rich and vibrant Radiant Plum Colorant, which has been used in the Layered Lilac Loofah Cold Process and the Vibrant Mehndi Cold Process.

If you prefer melt and pour soap, the new Radiant Plum and Neon Blue Raspberry Color Blocks allow you to achieve vibrant hues. Color blocks are highly concentrated pieces of melt and pour, and are easy to incorporate into your melt and pour soap. If you’d like more information on how to use them, check out this Soap Queen TV video.

Exfoliants are another option to give your projects color and texture. Jojoba beads in particular come in a variety of colors, and give gentle exfoliation. The new Jasmine and Sanora Sand jojoba bead colors are perfect for spring projects. If you’d like to learn more about jojoba beads, check out the Jojoba Beads Sunday Night Spotlight blog post. If you’d like to experiment with new other exfoliants, the Exfoliant Sampler Pack includes eight different exfoliants, including shredded loofah, pumice and cranberry seeds.

  1. I’ve tried “White Rose” and “Grapefruit Bellini” and love both of them .i added the white rose to the avocado soap instead of the spearmint and it came out great. Didn’t put a lot so the fragrance is subtle and not overpowering.
Now i want to try all the other ones…..hint, hint….

    1. I love those two fragrances! I’m usually not a huge fan of florals, but I love White Rose because of the fresh lemon and minty notes. 🙂

Did you know you can request a sample with your order? That way you can sample a new fragrance each time! To request a fragrance, email orderchange (at) brambleberry (dot) com within one business hour of placing your order. I highly recommend a Tobacco and Bay Leaf Fragrance Oil sample. It is amazing!

  2. How do the S.O.A.P. panels work? I only work with melt and pour, but wonder if the panel is only for cold process? I would love to be part of product testing!

    1. Hi Michelle!

We announce the S.O.A.P. Panel on our social media pages and this blog, and people can enter by telling us about their favorite Bramble Berry product! Then, they are given mystery fragrances to test in a variety of products, including melt and pour. You can read more about that in the Searching for a New S.O.A.P. Panel post: https://soapqueen.com/bramble-berry-news/s-o-p-panel/

We will definitely be having more panels in the future, so keep your eyes peeled for that announcement! 🙂
